The QA Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of software products by designing and executing test plans, identifying defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software that meets business and user requirements.
Աշխատանքային պարտականություններ
- Design, execute, and document manual test cases based on user stories, business requirements, and acceptance criteria.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing across mobile banking and API/microservices layers.
- Test REST APIs using Postman and validate API contracts and documentation using Swagger
- Identify, document, and track defects using the team's task management tool (Jira or equivalent), ensuring timely follow-up and fix verification.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and business analysts to clarify requirements, flag risks early, and maintain quality t[...]oughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Ensure testing aligns with the bank's security, data integrity, and regulatory standards.
Անհրաժեշտ հմտություններ
- 2+ years of experience as a QA Engineer in software development or IT systems
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and defect lifecycle management
- Hands-on experience in testing mobile applications Android and/or iOS
- Hands-on experience with Postman for API testing
- Ability to read and work with Swagger / OpenAPI documentation
- Experience using a bug or task tracker such as Jira or similar
- Ability to write clear, structured test cases, test plans, and defect reports
- Analytical mindset and strong attention to detail
- Communication skills in Armenian
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned modules
- Experience testing REST APIs and client-server applications
- Understanding of mobile application lifecycle, device compatibility, and mobile-specific testing techniques
